250th Anniversary of the American Revolution Commemorative Trio

LIMITED EDITION 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution Commemorative Trio

Three historic teas. One extraordinary milestone.

To honor the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, we’ve curated a limited-edition gift set of three commemorative tins—each depicting a pivotal event in America’s path to independence.

This Commemorative Trio Includes:

• Colonial Bohea – Boston Tea Party Commemorative Tin
A black tea and the most widely consumed blend in colonial America, Bohea was the most abundant of the teas cast into Boston Harbor during the protest that helped ignite a revolution. Smoky and bold, it remains a defining flavor of rebellion.
Featuring “The Destruction of Tea at Boston Harbor” (Nathaniel Currier, 1846), a rendering of the events of December 16, 1773, when American colonists boarded British ships and dumped over 90,000 pounds of tea into the sea in defiance of British taxation.
• Gunpowder – Battles of Lexington & Concord Commemorative Tin
Known for its tightly rolled leaves and light, vegetal character, Gunpowder tea was a familiar import in the colonies. Its bold nature reflects the urgency and resolve that defined the first day of armed resistance in the colonies.
Featuring “The Battle of Lexington” by William Barnes Wollen, a portrayal of the April 19, 1775 encounter between colonial militia and British regulars that marked the start of armed conflict.
• Congou – Declaration of Independence Commemorative Tin
Smooth, full-bodied, and historically prized in colonial trade, Congou was regarded for its refined character and quality. This special edition tin marks the 250th anniversary of the founding document that reshaped the world.
Featuring John Trumbull’s famous painting “The Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776,” capturing the moment the document was presented to the Continental Congress.
