Darjeeling Autumnal Flush – Tea by the Pound

Darjeeling Second Flush – Loose Tea

Description:

Darjeeling is a black tea known for its refined character and celebrated origin. This second flush Darjeeling yields a fuller-bodied, amber infusion with honeyed, woody notes and a pronounced muscatel sweetness, offering a richer and more rounded cup than earlier harvests.

Tea plantations sit at the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, where gardens were first planted by the British in 1841 under the British East India Company. By the mid-19th century, Darjeeling had earned a devoted following in Europe, prized for its distinctive flavor and quality—an esteem it continues to hold today.
